The council’s AGM is taking place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority, from 7-9 pm.
This year’s guest speaker is Rebecca Geauvreau, Species At Risk Biologist, FRi Ecological Services. Rebecca’s talk is on “Bats in the Nipissing Area: What We Know, What We’re Learning and How You Can Help”.
The presentation will touch on bats, the only mammal capable of true flight, which bat species we share habitat with in the Nipissing area, some of the threats bats are facing and finally what we can do to make a positive difference.”
